Pass door assembly with side door

A fixed pass door assembly with side door provides

a convenient passage for pedestrians without needing

to open the rolling shutter.

A swing-aside pass door assembly with side door

(not shown) has an additional advantage: if necessary,

the maximum clear hall opening can be utilised.

With a lack of interior sideroom

External rolling shutters

External rolling shutters are the perfect solution for hall

openings that lack interior sideroom. They also provide

advantages in explosion-proof areas. The door operator

and control can be placed outside of the area with the

greatest explosion risk, thus minimising the need for

explosion protection measures.

If there is no overhead covering, Hörmann offers a special

barrel casing in either galvanized sheet steel or stainless

sheet steel. An addition to the certified trap guard is

also available.

For sloping ground

Chamfered bottom profile

Hörmann rolling shutters and rolling grilles can even

be fitted on sloping ground. A chamfered bottom

profile compensates for differences in height; steps

can also be bridged this way.

ATEX certified

Hörmann’s rolling shutters and operators are

available in an ATEX-certified version and thus

can also be used in explosive areas.
